First RTP Installation

In 2012, IMANTT achieved a milestone by successfully completing the first installation of a Reinforced Thermoplastic Pipe (RTP) flexible pipeline line in Colombia. This line is currently operational, marking a significant advancement in the industry.

Execution

Ecopetrol, in its quest for more efficient and reliable fluid transportation solutions, entrusted IMANTT to implement innovative RTP technology. The installation took place in Yaguara, Huila, covering a length of 1,200 meters and connecting water injection at Mango 181. With a pressure of 1,600 PSI and temperatures reaching up to 55°C, the flexible pipeline demonstrated its resilience and durability under adverse conditions.

This project exemplifies IMANTT’s commitment to innovation and excellence in the industry, providing advanced solutions that meet the specific demands of fluid transportation in Colombia’s energy sector.

Rehabilitation of steel pipeline for RTP

Project

In 2012, IMANTT led a pioneering project in Orito, Putumayo’s oil industry. The mission: to supply and install Reinforced Thermoplastic Pipe (RTP) flexible pipeline from well Orito 105 to Battery 1.

Execution

During project implementation, we tackled complex technical challenges, such as installing over an existing bridge using a sliplining method with a 6-inch metal protection pipe for the RTP pipeline. Our technical team adeptly applied their expertise to overcome these operational complexities.

Results

The project concluded successfully, spanning a total length of 2,100 meters from well Orito 105 to Battery 1. The implementation of the RTP flexible pipeline not only met industry standards but also proved to be an optimal and reliable technical solution for the demanding fluid transportation requirements in the oil and gas sector.

68K lake Maracaibo (VEN)

Project

IMANTT undertook the challenge of implementing an extensive system of Flexible RTP production lines, spanning a total distance of 68 kilometers. This large-scale project required the installation of pipelines of varying diameters, including 3″, 4″, and 6″.

Execution

During the execution phase, IMANTT conducted all technical activities related to installation, ranging from civil and mechanical works to subaqueous, aerial, and challenging terrain installations. With a meticulous approach at every stage of the process, the IMANTT team showcased its expertise and ability to overcome technical challenges, ensuring a successful implementation.
